I wait for you, O LORD;
you will answer, O Lord my God. (Ps 38:15)
It’s getting so dark here and I don’t want to go ahead of you, but I don’t know if I can wait any longer, I’m frustrated, and I just want to pick up my bag from this bus stop and leave. I don’t know where to go; I don’t know what to do. I don’t know any other person other than you to call to pick me up. I’ve been waiting patiently, but I can’t say that I’m waiting patiently now. Lord, I’m just being honest. Please renew my strength so that I can continue waiting, or pick me up so that I can see your goodness in the land of the living.
“LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless
and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart
and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong
and casts no slur on his fellowman.”
( Ps. 15:1-3
