Vows are not made to be broken, but sometimes they do get broken unintentionally. So what do we do when our vows are broken? What is the whole purpose of making a vow when you break it over and over? My vow has been struggle because it seems worse than what I had in mind when I made the vow. I don’t regret the vow, but it makes me think more carefully about any vow that I make from now on. I’ve learned in my struggle that it is easier to make a vow than it is to keep them.
“LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless
and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart
and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong
and casts no slur on his fellowman.”
( Ps. 15:1-3
