![]() Funny, as I write this, I am reminded that perhaps this is an answer to a prayer for me and most people out there. If you are like most people, you believe you have reasonable control of your life. I used to have goals without having plans to accomplish it, and I have broken a lot of those goals year after year, but I do thank God that I had goals to break. I decided this year to set another kind of goal like king David said in psalm 27:4, “One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.” It’s not always as easy as it sounds, considering the fact that we have families, mouths to feed, homework, talk about basketball games, football games, ballet lessons, piano lessons and so on. How can we find balance in life? Adults are busy, children are busy. I can remember when I was eight years old, we had all the time in this world. Now it looks like the only time most of us have to give God is on Sundays, maybe two hours of our time and we are back to being busy again.
