Honestly speaking, how many people will say that they spend 15 to 30 minutes in the presence of God every day, without missing a day? Often when the word balance is mentioned, we immediately think of family or work balance. But balance is a broad subject. Balance is a sense of harmony, a feeling derived from being whole and complete. According to Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary, balance is, “A stable mental or psychological state; emotional stability.” Finding balance with God to me is finding me. In (Matthew 7:7) the bible says: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” His personal promise to us is that He will reveal Himself to all who seek Him. Where do we begin today to learn such balance?
“LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless
and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart
and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong
and casts no slur on his fellowman.”
( Ps. 15:1-3
