“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31) Waiting on you Lord used to keep me excited, but lately, I’ve been overwhelmed and ready to give up hope. My thoughts are so jumbled that I don’t know what to think. What if you never show up? I did not expect my relationship with you to be difficult, but I’m beginning to find that waiting on you is the hardest thing to do. What do I do while I’m waiting?
“LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless
and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart
and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong
and casts no slur on his fellowman.”
( Ps. 15:1-3
